Wilbert
Roget, II is an award-winning composer for the film and video
game industries. An experienced and well-rounded classical
musician, Roget received his Music degree from Yale University,
graduating With Distinction and winning several awards in the
arts.
His unique and diverse
musical voice combines elements of large and small performing
forces, traditional and modern instrumentation, electronic
manipulation of acoustic instruments and sweeping orchestral
gesture. Drawing influence from Western Classical music as well
as the sounds, idioms, and harmonies of world music from
Bulgaria to Bali, Roget has developed a very personal sound and
wide, versatile compositional range.
In 2008 Wilbert joined the in-house music
team at
LucasArts, working as a composer for
Star Wars: The Old Republic
and music editor on
Star
Wars: The Force Unleashed,
Indiana
Jones: Staff of Kings, and several other released and upcoming games.
He is also a
successful sample library developer, having founded
Impact Soundworks
and produced the Impact: Steel
metallic percussion library, now a mainstay in the film
and video game music composition world. |
